After a successful launch in Bengaluru, Hyphen is coming to Delhi!
Born from a belief that India's languages are always in conversation with one another, Hyphen seeks to create a space where those conversations can travel further — across regions, traditions, and readers. Through translation, criticism, fiction, poetry, and essays, we hope to bring the richness of our many literary worlds into dialogue.
Our inaugural print journal has been a long time in the making. Every page carries months of reading, commissioning, writing, rewriting, translating, editing, designing, and thinking together. It is a labour of love, and we are thrilled to finally share it with our readers.
Its launch marks the beginning of what we hope will be a long and evolving literary journey one that celebrates languages not in isolation, but in relation to one another, and makes room for unexpected encounters between texts, writers, and readers.
