Sundar Sarukkai - Parvati Tirkey

Sundar Sarukkai is a philosopher whose work has significantly influenced contemporary thinking on the natural and social sciences. He is the founder of Barefoot Philosophers, an initiative that brings philosophy to children and public audiences. The author of numerous books, his most recent work is the novel “Following a Prayer”. Parvati Tirkey is a Hindi poet, educator and researcher from Jharkhand whose work draws on the oral traditions and ecological worldview of the Kurukh community. Her debut poetry collection, Phir Ugna, won the Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar in 2025.
