Ranjit Hoskote is a poet, cultural theorist, translator, and curator whose work spans literature, visual art, and critical inquiry. He curated India's first national pavilion at the Venice Biennale in 2011 and co-curated the 7th Gwangju Biennale in 2008. His poetry collections include “The Cartographer's Apprentice”, “Jonahwhale”, and “The Sleepwalker's Archive”.
