Ali Mohammad Lone

Ali Mohammad Lone (1926–1987) was a renowned Kashmiri playwright and novelist from Srinagar. He wrote nearly 200 radio plays, including the popular “Taqdeer Saaz” and the award-winning historical drama “Suyya”. His works focused on humanity and the common man. He also wrote the screenplay for the first Kashmiri film “Meanz Raath” and received the Sahitya Akademi Award.
