Aayilah Ahmad is a storyteller and poet from Kashmir. She has taught literature and worked as a researcher and editorial intern for Hyphen. Her writing has appeared in Kashmir Poetics, Al Jazeera, and other publications, and engages with questions of memory, place, and belonging.
